A game of two halves.
We played against a strong breeze in the first half and we were holding our own. With some great running, tackling and support play. We conceded a goal just before half time which gave us a bigger challenge for the 2nd half. Half time AS 0-1 LR 1-6
We start the 2nd strongly and dominating play and keeping LR penned back. We got back on level terms and but couldn’t get ahead. LR in one of their rare attacks scored a goal. The boys never gave up and got back level again however LR kicked the winning point with 3 mins remaining. The boys are improving all the time, never gave up and fought to the end. Scorers: Danny 1-4, Harry 0-3 and Ben 0-2 pts. Well done to the boys, we learn and look forward to the next game on Wednesday v Na Gaeil
