Mid Kerry were awarded a close free in the dying minutes of the game – with just 2 points between the teams Stacks took no chances and all 15 players lined up in defence with the Mid Kerry free taker electing to take his point. Stacks held out for a well deserved 1 point win much to the delight of the Rockie faithful – on a “wet wet” night in Connolly Park.
