U14B Co. League Austin Stacks: 6-06 Milltown/Castlemaine: 1-01
Our under 14B’s were in excellent form in completely outclassing Milltown/Castlemaine in the County League, at home last evening. The players are making great strides in their development as footballers and this bodes well for the future of the club. With each outing Philip Quilter, Cian Liston, Keelan Pierce(1-0), Sean Tansley, Adam McElistrim and Rory Forbes are showing they will be ready to take over as leaders of the under14A’s next season. The younger lads in the team Donagh McKivergan(2-01), Ciaran O’Reilly, Michael Linnane and David Fitzmaurice and Joseph O’Connor(1-0) dominated their respective opponents and continue to impress with every game. Shane O’Neill(1-05) had his best game to date while Ian Moynihan(0-1) and Darren Chester fought for every ball. Odhran Liston was impressive as goalkeeper and also when moved outfield in the second half. Man of the Match: Shane O’Neill.
