U12’s Street League Presentation Of Awards

The Austin Stacks in-house U12 Street League finals were played last Friday night with victory going to St. Brendan’s after a dramatic 2nd half come-back.  The Plate final saw ‘Caherslee’ take the bragging rights.  Also taking pride of place on the night was the Dee O’Leary Cup won by Austin Stacks U12’s at Na Piarsaigh Cork’s invitational tournament last weekend. Thanks to the Austin Stacks Bar staff for providing food and refreshments to the teams after the presentation of trophies.

The Cup final was between St. Brendans and Tralee Town, with victory going to Gerry Fitzmaurice’s St. Brendans after a dramatic second half comeback, winning on the final kick of the game!  Photo of presentation to winning captain, David Fitzmaurice by Colm Mangan.

The Plate final was between Caherslee and Tralee Rural, victory in this encounter going to Eamonn Linnane’s Caherslee side.  Presentation to winning captain, Ciaran O’Reilly by Colm Mangan. 

The Dee O’Leary Cup which was won by our U12 team at Na Piarsaigh tournament last weekend was presented to the winning captain Padraig (Podge) O’Luanaigh by our juvenile Chairman, Tim McMahon
