The countdown has begun for the acclaimed ‘Austin Stacks Strictly Come Dancing’ event which this year will be held on Saturday night 23rd August. Following the success of last year’s event the Festival of Kerry have invited the Austin Stacks GAA club’s premier fundraising event back to the dome and we are delighted to accept. Preparations are well underway with all 12 couples now having completed over 3 months of training under the guidance of dancing instructor Jackie O’Mahony. Tickets for this year’s event have gone on sale today and will be availalbe from the following outlets: Garvey’s Supervalu, the Greyhound Bar, Kevin Barry’s Rock St., the Austin Stacks Club bar and also from the ticket office at the Festival of Kerry offices. Price €20. We are encouraging all members of the Ausitn Stacks Club to get behind this event and support it – sell a few tickets to friends and neighbours and make the night a great success for the club.
