Club Fundraiser/British Open Golf: We’re running our annual British Open Golf Fundraiser — and we’re asking all members and non members to get involved. Not only is this a bit of fun around the golf but it’s also a vital part of keeping Austin Stacks GAA Club going strong. Every euro raised goes directly back into the club — improving the facilities, supporting our events, upgrading gear, upgrading equipment, maintaining the fields and most importantly making sure players of all ages can continue to enjoy everything the club offers. If you enjoy being part of the club — whether you’re playing, watching, your kids are part of our academy or you’re here for the social side — this is your chance to give something back. If you don’t know anything about golf, that’s okay – there is an option to do a quick pick! (Last year’s winner was a quick pick!) We really need your support. Buy a line or even better a card, spread the word, and help us make this a success. Let’s pull together and back the club that gives us all so much.

This Wednesday evening our U10s will play St. Pats in Blennerville. Throw in is at 6.30pm. Our U8s will welcome Na Gaeil to Connolly Park this Sunday morning at 10am as part of the Lee Strand Summer Go Games Series.

U13: Last Sunday evening we played Kerins O’Rahillys in the first round of the U13 North Kerry League Divison 2 in Connolly Park. KOR were the faster team to settle, building up a 1-2 to no score lead. The Stacks girls didn’t panic and scored a number of well worked points. Half time score: AS 2-4, KOR 1-3
