Kerry Ladies Football – Mary Jo Curran Cup, C Final.
At Firies pitch, Farranfore on Sunday 12th November our senior ladies team played their last match of a long season against Milltown/Listry. This was a tough and physical encounter, at half time our girls were down 4-8 to 2-4, our 2 goals coming late in the second half with Milltown/Listry piling on the pressure from early in the game. On the resumption, our Rockies dug deep but were not able to overtake the mid-Kerry outfit, going down on a scoreline in favour of Milltown/Listry 6-11 to our 5-8.
Well done to our girls and hardworking management team (Aidan McCarthy, Martin McKivergan and Paul Lucey) for an excellent season, looking forward to all that will arise in 2018 in Division 2. Have a well deserved rest in the meantime!
