Thanks Billy, Mikey & Brian
On behalf of the Austin Stacks GAA Club we extend our deepest gratitude to Billy Lee, David Lavin and Mikey Collins for their outstanding management and coaching of our senior team throughout 2023 and 2024.
Billy’s leadership, commitment, and passion for the team and the club as a whole was nothing short of exceptional, and in bringing his deep experience and knowledge of the game, he led the team to success in winning the Kerry and Munster 2024 Intermediate Football Championships, as well as Division 2 of the county league and the Tralee/St Brendan’s Senior Football Championship.
David brought an excellent and unique approach to coaching our players as individuals and as a team, and under his guidance our players not only developed individually but also as a unit.
Mikey’s passion for and knowledge of the game and the club is wonderful, and the enthusiasm he brought to his role and passed on to the team was also instrumental in our success.
The success we experienced in these two years is a testament to their dedication and expertise both as individuals and as a management team, and the impact on all in the club will be felt for years to come. We are incredibly fortunate to have had Billy, David and Mikey leading, guiding and challenging our players during this period of success.
So go raibh míle maith to Billy, David and Mikey for everything they have done for the club and our players, and wish each of them every good wish in the future.
Le meas,
Eamonn O’Reilly, Acting Chairperson, Austin Stacks GAA Club
