Match report by Tim Tiger Slattery
This was Stacks first meeting with Beaufort in Beaufort since 1999 when Beaufort won that game rather easily by 3-16 to 1-6.
Stacks made it five wins out of five to go top of the table by two points from todays opponents.
Stacks opened the scoring within a minute when Greg Horan pointed from a Jack O’Shea pass.Donagh McKivergan has two points in a row one from a free to make it a three point game after eight minutes.
Darragh O’Connor from a free had Beaufort first score on twelve minutes and Jack Morgan from a Jordan Kissane pass had Stacks fourth point midway through the first half.
Donagh Mac added another Stacks point after good work by Shane O’Callaghan,back came Beaufort with two points in a row from Darragh Dennehy and a Fergal Hallissey free to narrow the gap to two points.

Colm Browne had Stacks opening point shortly after the interval and was followed by three points in a row from a Donagh McKivergan mark Greg Horan and Colm Browne from play to push Stacks six points ahead.
Jeremiah O’Sullivan goaled for Beaufort seven minutes into the second half to make it a three point game only for Jack Morgan to reply with his second point for Stacks on ten minutes.
Stacks had four unanswered points within a ten minute period from Conor Horan,Jordan Kissane,Donagh McKivergan and Conor Myers to leave eight points between the sides.
Beaufort were awarded a penalty with five minutes to go and Liam Carey scored to bring them right back into the game and Fergal Hallissey with a pointed free leaving four points between the sides.
Deep into stoppage time Beaufort were awarded two frees within two minutes both converted by Fergal Hallissey to close the scoring.

Mens County League DIV 5A
Our mens Senior B team are up to third place in Division 5A after a very impressive win on Sunday afternoon in Connolly Park. Going in at half time the sides were level at 1-03 apiece but a superb second half performance saw us keep the opposition scoreless while adding 2-13 to our own tally.

All-Ireland Super 9s Schools football tournament;
Austin Stacks is delighted to be one of the host venues for the inaugural All-Ireland Super 9s Schools football tournament being held in Tralee this Thursday May 2nd. This exciting new 9-a-side blitz organised by the Transition Year students in CBS The Green will see 16 school teams from all over the country compete for the Mikey Sheehy Cup and Ger Power Shield, and all in Austin Stacks will be extending a very warm Rockie welcome to St Jarlath’s Tuam, ISK Killorglin, St. Francis College Rochestown, St Macartan’s Monaghan, Presentation Milltown, Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine Kenmare and the home side CBS The Green who will be competing in Groups 3 & 4 in Connolly Park.

U21 Football Championship:
Austin Stacks have been drawn at home against Rathmore GAA in the opening round of the U21 Football Championship with the opening round fixtures to be played on May 22nd.
Dates; Round 1- May 22nd, Quarter Finals- May 29th, Semi Finals- June 26th, Final- July 3rd .

Kerry Seniors Vs Clare:

Kerry Minors Vs Cork
Well done to the Kerry Minors on their win against Cork on Tuesday night in Tralee. Austin Stacks had three players in the starting line up which included Fionnan Ryan, Ben Murphy(capt) & Ronan Caroll with Gavin Casey on the subs bench.
