Gneeveguilla opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a Sean O’Keeffe point from a free and within a minute Stacks were level from the boot of Cian Purcell after good work by Paddy Lane.
Fiachna Mangan from a Greg Horan pass and a Paddy Lane free made it a two point game.
Paddy lane had two points in a row first from a free after a foul on Colm Browne and the second from play after a great run by Jack O’Shea midway through the first half to leave four points between the sides.
Fiachna Mangan in the 23rd minute and shortly afterwards Paul O’Leary both from play exchanged points.

Three minutes into the second half Colm Browne hit the back of the net from a quick thinking free by Cian Purcell.
Colin Griffin from a Donagh pass and Donagh McKivergan himself from a free free left nine points between the sides.
Paddy Lane and Cian Purcell added points from play coming up to the half point of the second half.
Paddy Lane from a free and Daniel Kirby from play added points for Stacks only for John O’Leary with two pointed frees for the home side which were their only scores of the second half to finish the scoring.

This result has put us back into Division 1 for the 2025 season with two games remaining. Our next game is fixed for Tuesday June 18th in Connolly Park against Templenoe . If we can win our final two matches we will go as division champiions.
Mens County League DIV 5 Cup

Our mens senior B team were defeated at home on Sunday afternoon against a very strong Sneem/Derrynane side .
Our final County League fixture is an away game on Sunday June 23rd against Laune Rangers in Killorglin with a throw in time of 2-00pm.
U21 Football Championship;

Stacks qualified for the Semi-Final of the County Championship for the first time since 2019 when they were beaten by East Kerry on a score of 1-14 2-9.
Colm Browne opened the scoring for Stacks with a point and Kenmare were level within a minute when Darran Allman pointed a free.
Paddy Lane had Stacks back in front from a free in the 4th minute and Darragh O’Connor from play had the home side level again in the 14th minute.
Daniel Kirby from play and Jack Tangney from a free tied the match just before the interval.
Half Time Score Kenmare Shamrocks 0-3 Austin Stacks 0-3.
Stacks with a goal from Damien Hogan and a Shane Bastible point were four points up inside three minutes of the second half.
Jimmy Lehane from play and a Darran Allman free made it a two point game.
Paddy Lane with another point from play shortly afterwards Jack O’Sullivan and Conor Horan traded points to make it 1-6 to 0-6 in favour of Stacks.
Darran Allman goaled for Kenmare in the 16th minute to level the match
Stacks were back in front with two points in a row from Paddy Lane and Jordan Kissane only for a Darran Allman free to leave the minimum between the sides.
Paddy lane had Stacks second goal in the 29th minute after good work by Kissane,Townsend and Kirby and with time up Jack Tangney had the final score of the game for Kenmare.

Austin Stacks have been drawn in Group A alongside Glenbeigh-Glencar, An Ghaeltacht & John Mitchels for the 2024 Intermediate Club Championship. The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarter Final stage.
Our opening fixture will be against John Mitchels at a neutral venue.

Kerry Senior Ladies v Waterford :
Best of luck Aoife, Darragh and the Kerry Senior Ladies team who will face Waterford in their second group game in the All Ireland series. The game is fixed for Saturday June 15th at 3-00pm in Killarney.
Kerry Minors v Roscommon:
Well done to our Kerry Minors Captain Ben, Fionnan, Ronan, Gavin, Ryan, team manager Wayne, Jonathan(goalkeeping coach), Fionnan(physio) and the Kerry team on their victory over Roscommon in the All Ireland Quarter Final on Saturday. Kerry will now face Derry in the Semi Final with the date and time to be confirmed.
