Can’t wait to get back into GAA action? – why not support Tralee CBS (featuring plenty of Rockies) as they take on St. Pat’s of Navan in a challenge game under lights this Friday night (January 13th) at 7pm in Caherslee – it’s sure to be a great nights entertainment. In prepartion for the Corn Ui Mhuiri quarter finals, Tralee CBS played a challenge match against Colaiste Eoin, Stillorgan, Dublin on Thursday last, 5th January, at the Strand Road pitch. In a match that both sides had to contend with a strong wind in both halves, Tralee ran out victors in a spirited game on a scoreline 1-08 to 9pts. Colaiste Eoin are qualifiers in Leinster Senior Schools and on Wednesday 4th January defeated Pobalscoil Corca Dhuibhne, in Dingle, in a challenge game. The quarter final draw of Corn Ui Mhuiri took place on Saturday. The following is the draw… Rochestown, Cork vs Tralee CBS St. Brendans Killarney vs Col. Chriost Ri, Cork. Pobalscoil Corca Dhuibhne vs St. Flannans, Ennis De La Salle Macroom vs Skibbereen. The quarter finals will be played on Wednesday 25th January, venues to be confirmed in due course.
