Stacks had a twenty point victory over a disappointing Gneeveguilla in this penultimate round of the the County league.
Played in summary conditions Stacks had their opening point after 16 seconds from the boot of Ronan Carroll and Luke Casey
added another inside the first minute.
Connie O’Connor and Paul O’Leary with points from the home tied the scores after five minutes. Damien Cronin and Ronan Carroll
traded points, Eoin Rahilly had the home side back in front but Conor Horan from a free made it 4 points each after eleven minutes.
Oisin O’Leary with a point had the home side ahead but that was as good as it got as Stacks hit a purple patch with points from Cian Purcell,
Ryan O’Driscoll with a two pointer,Ronan Carroll and Cian again leaving four points between the sides after twenty minutes.
Fiachna Mangan and Shane Callaghan increased the lead with points and then Stacks had two in a row goals from Ryan O’Driscoll after
being put through from a Luke Casey pass and repeated the dose two minutes later after an interchange of passes with Shane with twenty four minutes gone on the Clock.
Ronan Carroll got goal number three from a Conor Horan pass and shortly after Ronan landed a forty five and just before the short whistle Paul O’Leary pointed a free.

Ronan Carroll like the first half had a point after thirty five seconds followed shortly after by a Ryan O’Driscoll free. Paul O’Leary with a two pointer free
and Shane Crowley with another made it a thirteen point game.
Back came Stacks with four unanswered points from Cian Purcell,Ronan Carroll,Shane Calla and a Ryan free making it 3-16 to 0-10 after seventeen minutes.
Paraic Finnegan with a two pointer free was the home sides last score as Stacks finished strongly with points from Gavin Casey and the returning Paul O’Sullivan sandwiched in between a Ronan Carroll daisy cutter to the net.
