Tralee is to host TWO celebration events for all ages in Manor & Town Centre on New Year’s Eve. A spectacular fireworks display at Manor Park and a New York “Times Square”-style Countdown on Denny Street will book-end New Year’s Eve celebrations for people of all ages in Tralee on Wednesday 31st December. The Austin Stacks Manager, Stephen Stack and nine of his Munster Club Championship winning team donned jerseys numbered 10 to 1 to help prepare for the countdown to midnight on New Year’s Eve.

The CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kieran Ruttledge, said: “It’s all about offering choice and entertainment to everyone. Families with young children will be enthralled by the third annual Fireworks Display which will light up the skies over Tralee before anywhere else in Ireland on New Year’s Eve. Revellers lucky enough to be venturing into Tralee Town Centre later on December 31st are being encouraged to step out onto Denny Street for a short New Year’s Eve Street Party commencing at 11.30pm. When the Countdown Clock rings in the New Year they can then head back into the comfort of their local pubs to continue planning their New Year’s Resolutions over a festive drink.” The family-friendly Fireworks Display at Manor Park, beside Bowling Buddies and The Playdium, will get underway at 7pm with music and the fireworks will be launched at 7.20pm sharp.
