ROBERT POWER: It was with great sadness that all in the Club and the local community have learned of the untimely death of Robert Power. Robert was a valued member of our Juvenile Section in the late nineties and early noughties. He played Minor on three consecutive seasons 2003 -2005, making a total of 24 appearances in total and being one of the top scores in seasons 2004 and 2005 along with fellow players Graham O’Connell, Joey O’Connor, Brían Mangan, Joey Kinsella, Alain Creagh and Neil Goulding.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Robert’s family on this sad loss. (see Death Notice below).
POWER, Robert, Shanakill, Tralee on 7th September 2014, dearest son of Ger and Catherine and deeply loved brother of Catríona, Michelle & Gerard. Sadly missed by his loving family, his nephew Seán and niece Caitlin, uncles & aunts, brothers-in-law Peter & Seán, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home on Thursday from 5pm to 6.30pm with removal to Our Lady and St. Brendan’s Church. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12.30pm. Interment afterwards in New Rath Cemetery, Tralee. Donations in lieu of flowers to Pieta House, care of Gleasures.
