A reunion of the 1992 Austin Stacks team that won the Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland Sevens competition was held in Connolly Park on Saturday night, 19th October. A good night was had by all who attended and reminisced on that great victory 21 years ago. Medals and a DVD of that 1992 event was presented to all the team by our Chairman, Aidan O’Connor, and a special presentation was also made to Denis O’Regan (Dee Butcher), club sponsor at that time. Thanks to all who helped organise the occasion, especially Joe McMahon, Michael “Chips” Clifford and Denis Sayers, bar staff for food and Barrys Bakery who once again came up trumps with a commerative cake.
