Exciting times for Austn Stacks GAA Club as the diggers moved into the ‘nuns’ field yesterday to begin works on our new second pitch development. Having been effectively ‘squatters’ on the nuns pitch for the last 30 years, the club was finally successful in our attempts to purchase the lands from St. Brendan’s Trust just last month. Kelly Brothers Construction, have wasted no time and it was wonderful to see the works progressing on what will be an invaluable addition to our club.
