Up and coming little Rockies interested in learing the art of GAA and forming new friendships are invited to the Austin Stacks Girls Football Academy which is designed for primary school girls.
Established in 2003 with 4 girls aged under 6, the academy has grown steadily with 120 girls of primary school age participating in 2010. The number of mentors has also grown to fourteen, all of whom are required to undertake coach education and ethics in sport training. Indoor training takes place from January to March every Sunday at CBS The Green School Gym U10’s 10am – 11am & U8’s 11am – 12pm. Outdoor commences from mid – March to end of October at 11am Sundays in Connolly Park. For further information contact mentor John Gutteridge on 086 8151966. New Members always very welcome.
