As recognition and thanks for her wonderful contribution to the Austin Stacks Ladies GAA Club, the club announced last night at their Club AGM that Noreen Power has become the First Honourary President of Austin Stacks Ladies Club. Noreen has had a long involvement with the club spanning over decades and has held various roles down through the years , most recently the position of Club Chairperson. Noreen has also represented the club as an officer on the Kerry LGFA Executive in the past. She continues to volunteer today, helping to organize club events such as socials and our annual Strictly Come Dancing show. Noreen’s kindness & good humour shine through and she has been much more than a coach and mentor to many club players down through the years. Her great example of volunteering has been replicated by her family. Today her daughter Siobhan is a very valued Club Officer of the Austin Stacks Senior Club Executive, her daughter Grainne coaches underage for our Ladies Club and her granddaughter Chloe O’Sullivan (a chip off the old block) is a pocket rocket corner forward for her Austin Stacks team.
