The Keane’s SuperValu Killorglin Minor Football League – Div. 1 Final was played at Milltown on Wednesday 23rd August between Austin Stacks and Dr. Crokes. Match referee was Jonathan Griffin (Glenbeigh-Glencar.) Austin Stacks were the deserving victors on a scoreline of 3-13 to 0-13.
Man of the Match Award was presented by Peter Keane of Keane’s SuperValu Killorglin to Michael Slattery of Austin Stacks. The Div. 1 Shield was presented to Austin Stacks Captain, Shane Walsh by Terence Houlihan, Coaching Officer with Kerry County Board.
This completes a hat-trick of Division 1 league wins for the Austin Stacks footballers at under 14, 16 and Minor level this year.
