Dr Crokes opened the scoring after six minutes with a two pointer from Mark O’Carroll and two minutes later Ben Kelliher added another two pointer to leave four points between the sides.
Ben Murphy and Ryan O’Driscoll had points for Stacks to make it a two point game.
Ben Kelliher had his second two pointer after eighteen minutes to make it a four point game,back came Stacks with three points in a row from Ronan Carroll with a brace and Harry Murphy to leave one point between the sides.
Ryan O’Driscoll from a Ronan Carroll pass goaled on twenty eight minutes and just before the interval Alex Tuohy and Ben Murphy pointed to leave four points between the sides.
Half Time Austin Stacks 1-7 Dr Crokes 0-6
Dr Crokes were quick out of the blocks at the start of the second half and had five unanswered points from Ben Kelliher,Nathan Cronin,Mark O’Carroll,Ben Kelliher free and Cian Mulcahy to make it a one point game.
Then we had two points in the thirteenth minute Ronan Carroll levelled for Stacks and Mark O’Carroll for Crokes made it a one point game.
Ben Kelliher from a free and Gavin Casey from a forty five had points to leave Crokes one ahead with twelve minute remaining.
Liam Hennigan and Cormac Bastible traded points to leave Crokes ahead by 0-14 to 1-10 with eight minutes remaining.
Crokes hit a purple patch and had four points in a row from Ben Kelliher free, Cian Mulcahy,Mark O’Carroll and Nathan Cronin to make it a five point game with one minute remaining.
Game over so it seemed but Stacks had other ideas Alex Tuohy goaled from close range,Ryan O’Driscoll with a free and a Ronan Carroll point levelled the match deep in injury time.

Extra Time
Liam Hennigan with a point opened the scoring for Crokes but within a minuteStacks were awarded a penalty which was converted by Ronan Carroll and just before the break Ben Murphy pointed for Stacks.
Half Time Extra Time; Austin Stacks 3-13 Dr Crokes 0-19
Ben Murphy and Ronan Carroll with points increased Stacks lead to five points within two minutes of the second half. Between the sixth and ninth minute Ronan Carroll added 1-2 to the scoreboard one a pointed free and just before the finish a Ben Kelliher free finished the scoring.
