Scores were hard to come by in the first half,Ryan O’Driscoll had Stacks opening point in the seventh minute and Alex Tuohy made it a two point game in the twelfth minute.
Aodhna O’Beaglaoich,Cian MacGearailt and Cillian MacConmara had points for West Kerry to leave the away side ahead at the interval.
Stacks had eight wides to West Kerry’s five in the first half.

Sean O’Cuinn with a two pointer stretched West Kerry’s lead to three points within a minute of the restart.
Alex Tuohy and Rory Lynch had points for Stacks to leave a point between the sides.
West Kerry added 1-2 without reply their goal coming from the boot of Cillian MacConmara and points from Padraig O’Mainnin,Cian MacGearailt to make it a six point game on ten minutes.
Harry Murphy goaled from a Rory Lynch pass but within a minute Cian MacGearailt pointed for West Kerry. Ryan O’Driscoll had the next two points for Stacks one from a free making it a two point game. Cian MacGearailt with a point restored West Kerry’s lead to three points with six minutes left.
Stacks were awarded a lifeline when they were awarded a penalty unfortunately Ronan Carroll’s kick was saved by Oisin O’Dubhda.The drama wasnt over yet Cormac Bastible goaled for Stacks and Jack Diggin pointed the Home side ahead in injury time. West Kerry launched one last attack and were awarded a free just outside the arc Cian MacGearailt nailed the two pointer to leave the visitors winning by one point.
