Girls Academy travelled to John Mitchels last Sunday morning as part of the Go Games and had a very enjoyable morning. Our thanks to John Mitchels Club for their hospitality. U6 & U8 girls will train this Sunday at 11am in Caherslee.
U10 Girls Blitz in Abbeydorney this Sunday June 15th. Training this Wednesday in Connolly Park at 6.15pm. Players will depart from Connolly Park for Blitz on Sunday morning at 10am.
U12 Girls Co. League our game against Ballymac did not go ahead last week. We played Duagh last Tuesday night (June 10th) final Score Duagh 1-6 Austin Stacks 3-8. Well done Girls. U12 girls will train again this Sunday in Connolly Park at 11am.
Congratulations to Danny Coffey, our U12 girls coach, who was award his 1st degree ‘Black Belt’ in Takewandoo last Sunday – well done Danny, a great personal achievement, congrats from everyone at Austin Stacks. We think you should wear the black belt over your tracksuit at training from now on!!
Also congratulations to Scoil Eoin Balloonagh girls on winning the Cumann na mBunscol Div 1 Urban Final last Tuesday (June 3rd) in Austin Stacks Park overcoming Scoil Mhuire Killorglin in a keenly contested game. Particular mention to the Stacks Girls involved: Niamh Ryan, Jasmine Rye, Lucy O’Carroll, Ciara Ryan Rachel Ryan, Alison Guerin, Aisling O’Shea, Emma Reidy, Grainne Carmody, Chloe Dillon, Rebecca Conway, Ciara Nix, Alison O’Leary, Rachel O’Donnell & Kirby Ann Ryan. Also special mention to their Coach – well known Rockie – Joe Mc Mahon. Well done one and all.
U14 Girls will play a challenge game this Saturday June 14th V the Clare Féile Champions – Doora Barefield, Ennis at 12 noon in Connolly Park.
