U6/8/10 – The Girls Academy held their awards morning in Connolly Park last Sunday. Thanks to all the girls and their families who attended. The year was a tremendous success with over 60 girls regularly attending training sessions. A special award for the best attendance went to U10 Ella Breen. Thanks to Ciara Begley, Ellen O’Connell, Kirby Ann Ryan and Ciara O’Mahony for helping out with the award presentations. So now a well earned rest for players, mentors and parents. We look forward to seeing you all again at our indoor training which will commence in February/March 2014. The academy wishes Happy Birthday to Lara Flynn who will be 10 on the 17th December.
U12/14 Girls received their North Kerry Div. 1 League winners (U12 & U14) and Town League Winners medals (U12) on Saturday evening at the Clubrooms Connolly Park Tralee. Austin Stack and Kerry Senior player Laura Rogers was on hand to present the medals to the girls. Sincere thanks to Laura for always making herself available on such occasions – it isn’t every day we can boast a Munster Senior Medal Winner in our ranks, so her presence certainly added to the occasion. (Great to see Laura making a good recovery from her serious injury during the summer -we all wish her well). So with the silverware handed out it was over to the clubhouse for some light refreshments and a chance to view some of Adrienne’s photographic memories from the year. Thanks to everyone involved and we look forward to great days again in 2014!

Coaches: Such are our playing numbers at the moment that Stacks Ladies club urgently need new coaches for various teams. Times are very flexible with the commitment of just 1 or 2 hours per week.
