Girls Academy: Training for U6, U8 & U10 girls will go ahead in Caherslee this Sunday. Our U8s and U10s travelled to Abbeydorney last Sunday morning for some challenge games our thanks to Abbeydorney for a great morning’s fun.

U12 Girls: Tralee Town League Semi Final: FT Austin Stacks 3-2 na Gaeil 2-4. We emerge victorious by the narrowest of margins following a late goal from the boot of Heather Mc Namara. But it was the efforts of our super defence Kirby Ann, Leah, Alex, Erica, Rachel, Lara and Yasmin that we can thank for getting us over the line in what was a very exciting game. The win saw us through to the final V John Mitchels (who defeated Kerins O’Rahillys) which was played in Connolly Park last Sunday evening (7th Sept). Final FT: Austin Stacks 2-7 to John Mitchels 3-6. Goals win matches and 2 quick goals by John Mitchels early in the 2nd half meant we were chasing this game all through the 2nd half. We love our girls ‘never say die attitude’ and with a minute left on the clock we had reduced the deficit to just 2 points. There was some heart stopping off the line defending by Mitchels, but they held out for what was a very deserved victory in the end. Beidh Lá eile againn.
Congratulations to 3 of our U12 Girls: Aoife Dillane, Alex Mc Namara & Yasmin Sultan who have been selected by the Kerry U12 Development Squad to play for Kerry this Saturday V Clare. Good luck from everyone in Stacks.
U14 Girls: North Kerry League FT Austin Stacks 6-9 Corcha Dhuibhne 6-5 – see Adrienne’s match photographs on www.austinstacks.ie . We played John Mitchels last Tuesday evening in Connolly Park FT Austin Stacks 5-5 John Mitchels 4-2.
U16 Girls: North Kerry League Result: Austin Stacks 5-9 Listowel 3-9 played in Connolly Park last Wednesday (3rd Sept) our girls played great football and were always in control throughout to cap off a great week the girls made it 2 wins out of 2 following a win over Kerins O’Rahillys (FT Austin Stacks 6-10 KOR 3-2) in a Tralee Town League game played last Sunday morning (7th Sept) in Connolly Park. Our next fixture in the North Kerry League will be V Finuge/St. Senans date tbc.
