Girls Academy – U6/8 & U10 Football will take place at 11am this Sunday in Caherslee. New members always welcome just come along any Sunday morning and join in. Our U10’s visited Kerins O’Rahillys as part of the ‘Go Games Scheme’ last Wednesday evening. Our thanks to Kerins O’Rahillys for a very enjoyable evening. Our next visit will be to Finuge – details will be confirmed by text.
U12 Girls: Austin Stacks 3-7 Ballymac 2-7: Played last Tuesday evening (1st July) in Connolly Park our girls took this, their final, Co. League game by the scruff of the neck early on and never let go. A fantastic all round display from our girls sees us very well positioned to take a Co. League semi final spot. Team: Kirby Ann Ryan, Leah Long, Alex Mc Namara, Erica Jones, Chloe Fitzpatrick, Lara Flynn, Yasmin Sultan, Aoife Dillane, Rachel O’Donnell, Catherine Duggan, Roisin Coffey, Rebecca Conway (1-0), Heather Mc Namara (1-2), Aisling O’Shea (1-5), Ciara Nix, Megan O’Brien, Eimear O’Sullivan, Karima Sultan, Sara Lucid, Vivienne Dineen. Training in Connolly Park every Sunday at 11am and Tuesday’s at 6pm.
U13 Championship will commence on Tuesday 22nd July. Draw to be made this week. We have entered a team in the North Kerry U13 Girls Blitz which will take place on Saturday July 26th in John Mitchels GAA club grounds.
U16: Our game V Kilcummin did not go ahead last week – a new date for this game tbc. All players will be contacted by text.
Senior Ladies: North Kerry Ladies Intermediate Championship – Finuge/St. Senans V Austin Stacks was played last Tuesday (8th July) – see www.austinstacks.ie for result. We will meet Rathmore in the Senior Intermediate Co. Championship (date tbc).
Well done to our own Maebh Mc Elligott who wore the Green n’Gold in the primary school game during half time of last Sunday’s Senior Munster Final and we wish the best of luck to the Kerry Senior Ladies in the Munster Final V Cork which will be held in Rathmore at 3.30pm this Saturday 12th July.
