Academy (U6, 8 & 10 girls) – Held their 1st outdoor training session in Caherlsee last Sunday. What a morning we had with over 40 girls in attendance. Various drills were used followed by a friendly match during which we saw some massive improvement from some of our newer players. A huge welcome to Clodagh Murray who attended her 1st training session with us. New members very welcome to join in all age groups just come along on Sunday morning to Caherslee at 11am. Many thanks also to all the girls who turned out in huge numbers to march with the best and biggest club in Kerry. The academy extends Birthday wishes to Aoibhean Corridon who celebrates her 10th birthday on the 31st March..
U12 Girls: No match last weekend as all North Kerry league games were suspended. The preliminary fixtures for U12 Kerry Co. League have been fixed and see us in Group B where we will play Abbeydorney, Listowel, Moyvane & Kerins O’Rahillys. We need to prepare for these games so please attend your training sessions on Tuesdays and Sundays.
U14 Girls: Co. League Div. 1 Round 1 fixture see us at home to Rathmore this weekend. Match date/time tbc.
U16 Girls: We were due to play our first game of the season away to Castleisland on March 30th in the North Kerry League but we await confirmation of this fixture. All players will be contacted by text re training times/matches.
Senior Team: Our Co. League game V Finuge/St. Senans did not go ahead last weekend. All senior players will be contacted by text with training & match details.
Clothes Re-cycling Fundraiser: Pencil the date in your diaries – April 5th – Austin Stacks GAA club will hold a fundraising Clothes Recycling day. So start emptying those wardrobes! – all clothing, bedding, shoes, bags, curtains, books, mobile phones accepted.
