Strictly Come Dancing: It’s our biggest annual fundraiser – Austin Stacks GAA Club’s Strictly Come Dancing in the Festival Dome this Saturday night (Aug 23rd). Tickets now on sale from Garvey’s Supervalu, the Greyhound Bar, Kevin Barry’s Rock St., the Austin Stacks Club bar and also from the ticket office at the Festival of Kerry offices. Price €20 or Juveniles €10 on the night. We are encouraging all members of the Austin Stacks Ladies Club and the parents of juvenile members to please buy or sell a few tickets to friends and family and make the night a great success. All monies raised will go towards the purchase and re-development of the Nuns Field.
Girls Academy: U6, U8 and U10’s girls please note there will no football training this Sunday morning (Aug 24th). Our U10 girls continue their series of Go Games travelling to Castleisland last Monday night and have games coming up in Listowel on Aug 31st and Abbeydorney on Sept 7th. No U10 training this Wednesday night. All players will be notified of match details by text.
U12 Girls: There will be no training this Sunday (24th Aug). Next training at 6pm on Tuesday Aug 26th . The Town League Semi Final has been fixed for Wednesday 27th Aug and the final on Saturday Aug 30th.
U15 Girls – We played away to Rathmore on Tuesday (Aug 12th) – Rathmore always a difficult place to get a result from but our girls gave their all to earn a draw 1-5 to 1-5 . The replay takes place in Connolly Park at 7pm this Wednesday Aug 20th. Full Time; Austin Stacks 4-6 Rathmore 5-5
Senior Ladies: Mary Jo Curran Cup – Our game V Southern Gaels did not go ahead in Connolly Park last Sunday morning and will be re-scheduled for a later date. We are due to play away to Dr. Crokes in this competition at 12 noon this Sunday 24th August.
