Academy (U6, 8 & 10 girls) – we hope to move outdoors for our training this Sunday. All players will be contacted by text with details. Birthdays: The Acadamh wishes a “breithlá sona” to Eimear O’Sullivan who will be 11 on 21st March. Also well done to all the girls who participated with the Austin Stacks in the Tralee St. Patricks Day parade with great noise and colour.
U12 girls played Listowel last Sunday. Although we came up short on the day this very young Stacks team showed a marked improvement from their game against Abbeydorney. Our mid-week training sessions have started and will take place in Connolly Park every Tuesday evening from 6 to 7pm. Next up is a game V Corcha Dhuibhne this Sunday at 12.00 in Gallarus. U14 Girls: Training every Tuesday evening from 6-7pm.
U16 Girls: First game of the season will be away to Castleisland on March 30th in the North Kerry League.
Senior Team: We played our opening Co. League Game V Rathmore in Connolly park last Sunday and were well beaten on the day. Outdoor Training time table is being put in place and all players will be contacted by text with details.
Clothes Re-cycling Fundraiser: Pencil the date in your diaries – April 5th – Austin Stacks GAA club will hold a fundraising Clothes Recycling day. So start emptying those wardrobes! – all clothing, bedding, shoes, bags, curtains, books, mobile phones accepted.
