Girls Academy: Our U6, U8 and U10 girls made the move outdoors last Sunday morning. More football again this Sunday at 11am in Caherslee V92 X025. New players are very welcome in all age groups. Just come along any Sunday morning.
U12 Girls: We enjoyed a challenge game V Na Gaeil last Sunday morning in Killeen. All the girls played with a great attitude, plenty of hard work and excellent communication throughout the hour. Thanks to Na Gaeil and the referee for a very enjoyable contest. Training continues every Wednesday & Friday evening in Connolly Park at 6.15pm nightly. This Sunday April 13th we hope to arrange a challenge game V Abbeydorney so keep an eye for notifications regarding this game.
U14: Well done to our U14 girls who played in a challenge game V Kerins O Rahillys last Saturday in Connolly Park. They showed excellent skill and determination throughout the game. Thanks to referee Garry Kissane and to Kerins O Rahillys, who accommodated us with the challenge game. This game will really bring on the girls’ fitness ahead of our first County League game against ISG this Sunday evening April 13th at 5pm in Connolly Park. We send our congratulations to Club Player Mya Dennehy who has been selected to take part in the Primary Schools Games in the upcoming Munster Senior Football Championship game V Cork in Pairc ui Caoimh next weekend. Well done Mya. Our U14B team will kick off their Co. League action with a home game V Annascaul/Castlegregory at 4pm on Sunday April 27th.
U16/18 Girls: Upcoming Fixtures: away V Beaufort this Friday April 11th at 6.45pm. North Kerry League U16 Div 2 home V KOR on April 23rd. Last Tuesday night (April 8th) our minor girls heading back to Gallerus to play Corcha Dhuibhne in Rd. 2 of the Co. League. Although we lost out to a very strong Corcha Dhuibhne side on the night, the girls enjoyed the match and gave their usual 100%, the trip was made worthwhile by a visit to Koolscoops Dingle on the way home. Thanks to John and the team there for wonderful service we will be back!
Senior Ladies: We were defeated by Fossa in Rd 3 of the Credit Union Donal Curtin Cup last Sunday morning in Connolly Park. We have a bye in Rd 4 this weekend. Training goes ahead on Friday evening at 6pm.
G4MNO: We train every Monday evening at 7pm in Connolly Park. New players are very welcome just come along any evening.
Kerry: *Best of luck to Aoife Dillane the Kerry team this Saturday April 12th in the National League Div 1 final V Armagh. Throw in is at 5pm in Croke Park. *Kerry Minors including our own Lucy O’Connor enjoyed a big win over Limerick last weekend. In the Final Round of this year’s Munster Minor Championship Kerry will be at home to Cork on April 19th. *We send our best wishes also to Kerry U16s including our own Eimear Dillane, they will be at home V Tipperary this Sunday April 13th in Rd 5 of the Munster Championship. *Congratulations to Kerry U14s including our own Ruth & Amelie who won the Munster U14B Championship final in Mallow last Wednesday night (April 9th) overcoming Waterford 4-16 to 2-6. Well done!
