Girls Academy: The U8s and U10s were made the trip across town to Ballyrickard on Saturday morning last where they had some challenge drills and a match with Kerins O’Rahillys. Great fun was had by all the girls. We would like to thank Samantha and her team mates for their invite. Last Sunday we welcomed the U10 girls of Laune Rangers to Connolly Park and once again had a great match, many thanks to Laune Rangers for coming at fairly short notice. Well done again to our U10’s who improve, it seems, with every game. We hope to get a couple of more games before seasons end and will advise all by text. The Academy sends birthday greetings to Elena McLaughlin and Emma Ryan who were both 14 on the 5th, to Ciara O’Mahony who was 10 on the 7th and to Maeve Lynch who will be 15 on 11th.
U12 Girls: Town league Semi Final – Austin Stacks V John Mitchels in Connolly Park at 6pm this Wednesday Oct 9th. Na Gaeil V Kerins O’Rahillys in the other Semi Final with the final being played on Saturday October 12th.
U14 Girls: We have qualified for the North Kerry League Final where we will play Corca Dhuibhne in Annascaul at 6.15pm this Sunday October 13th; We wish the best of luck to the team and mentors.
Cake Sale: Many thanks to everyone who supported our fundraising cake sale last Sunday morning it was a great success. Special thanks to the boys academy for their help, the staff of the club bar, Bakery’s Bakery for their very generous hamper and to Cotter Catering for the scones!
