Ladies Club Notes 22nd September, 2026

Girls Academy: Our U8 girls hosted our neighbours KOR and Na Gaeil last Sunday morning in our final Go Games of 2026.

Well done to all our U10 girls last Saturday at Castleisland Desmond’s Blitz, what a way to end our season of games, outstanding football being played by all and again the teamwork was just unbelievable. Next Sunday will be the final U6, U8 and U10 training session of the year so hope to see everyone in attendance.

U13 Girls: Congratulations to our U13 girls, the Sandra Keane Tournament Blitz Shield winners last Saturday. Well done coaches too. Thanks to the North Kerry Ladies Football Board and all associated with organising this fantastic annual event. U13 joint captains Ashling Trant & Caoimhe Madden received the trophy and Stacks Emma O Shea received the player of the final trophy.

U14 Girls: Another herculean final quarter effort by the U14A girls fell just short in a thrilling encounter in Gallarus during the week. Congratulations and thanks to Corca Dhuibhne and the referee for the match. We played Anascaul/ Castlegregory in our final group match last Monday evening. We will complete our NK Div1 campign with a home plate final against Churchill. Details TBC

Minor Ladies: Preparations continue for our Helen Dowling Memorial U18 Girls Blitz kindly sponsored by Power Travel. The blitz (11 a side) will take place on Saturday October 10th. We will have 8 Teams participating Austin Stacks, Listowel Emmetts, Moyvane, Kerins O Rahilly, Finuge St Senans, Corcha Dhuibhne, Laune Rangers and Castleisland Desmonds. There will be 2 groups, each team play 3 games, followed by Cup and Shield Semi Finals and finals.

G4MO: Training in Connolly Park every Monday & now Wednesday night from 7pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome, especially new members. Urging Ladies age 25 + to come along & try it out, no experience or fitness ability needed.

Stacks LGFA Autumn 2026 Fundraising Clothing Collection – Start ‘gathering’ we will hold a clothing collection on Saturday November 7th in the club rooms Connolly Park from 11am to 1pm. Thanks to all who organized, volunteered or supported last Saturday’s Garvey’s SuperValu Bucket collection on Saturday 19th Sept and also at our church gate collection at Our Lady and St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee last weekend.
