Girls Academy: Another busy weekend for our youngest players. U6s trained on Sunday morning in Connolly Park. Our U8s were in Killorglin for the Laune Rangers Go Games Blitz on Saturday morning and our U10s participated in the County Blitz in Cordal. This Saturday our U10s are on the road again and are heading to Castleisland for a Go Games Blitz at 12.30pm. Our U8 girls will welcome Na Gaeil girls to Connolly Park at 11am this Sunday for some Go Games. Sincere thanks to our dedicated club coaches for organising all these events for our youngest players. Next training for 8s and 10s is this Wednesday evening.
Summer Camps: Dates for your diary – Cúl Camp in Connolly park from Monday June 29th to July 3rd @ 9:30am. Register online. Austin Stacks Club Summer Camp Monday July 20th to Friday July 24th – register on July 20th.
U12 Girls: The Lee Strand Summer Go Games series continues; we welcomed Abbeydorney to Connolly Park last Wednesday evening and this Wednesday’s game will be V Finuge/St Senans in Connolly Park at 6pm.
U14 Girls: Congratulations to our U14 girls who gave an exhibition of quality football to secure their place in this year’s Co. League Premier Div 4 final with their victory over Killarney Legion last Sunday evening in Connolly Park. We await details of the final V Finuge/St.Senans or Beaufort who are in the other Semi final. We have also entered a team in the U14 Super Touch competition which will run over 3 weeks in July – July 2nd, 7th and 14th – this will be an 11 a side competition.
U16 Girls: Training this week on Monday and Thursday from 7pm to 8.15pm. The North Kerry Div 2 Shield Final V KOR is fixed for Tuesday June 23rd in Connolly Park at 7.15pm.
Minor Ladies: We will return to training on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. We will train with the senior ladies throughout the summer. We have entered the U23 competition, our team will be made up of our minor girls and some of the younger senior ladies. This is an 11 a side competition – fixture dates as follows: Friday the 17th of July, Friday the 24th of July And Friday the 7th of Aug.
Senior Ladies: We’re back to Co League action this Friday June 19th with an away game V ISG in Kenmare at 8pm and at home to Kilcummin on Monday June 22nd at 7.30pm.
G4MNO: Training in Connolly Park every Monday night from 7pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome, especially new members. Urging Ladies age 25 + to come along & try it out, no experience or fitness ability needed
Kerry: Kerry Ladies had a comprehensive win over Kildare last Saturday in Rd 2 and have now secured a home QF spot in this year’s TG4 Senior Championship. Well done to our Club player Aoife Dillane who played a great game in Newbridge and contributed much to Kerry’s victory.
