training this Sunday as we all head to Killarney to cheer on The Rockies in the final!! U12 Girls: U12 Girls Town League Final: Austin Stacks 3-8 Na Gaeil 1-2: Big congratulations to our U12 girls who finished the 2013 season by being crowned Lee Strand Town League Final Winners last Saturday 12th October at the John Mitchels new grounds by overcoming Na Gaeil on a final score of 3-8 to 1-2 (see report/photographs on www.austinstacks.ie) This has been wonderful season for this group of girls, who captured the North Kerry Div. 1 League title earlier in the year. Thanks to mentors Pat Reidy, Louis Begley, Denis Ryan and Joan Devane for their commitment to this team over many months. The team will be honored at our Ladies Club Awards night in December.
U14 Girls: North Kerry Div. 1 League Final – played in Annascaul last Sunday evening (Oct 13th). A last minute goal from Lauren Barrett secured the win for Stacks on a score-line of Austin Stacks 6-2 Corcha Dhuibhne 5-4 (see www.austinstacks.ie)for report and photographs).
