Clothes Recycling: Our Club Fundraising Clothes Recycling: collection date is Sat Feb 25th from 11.30am to 1pm. We will accept – Mens, Womens & Childrens Clothing – Household Textiles ie Curtains & Towels, Soft toys, Shoes, Handbags
Belts. Please note we cannot accept duvets or pillows. All items must be clean & dry. As part of our Club Clothes Recycling Fundraising Collection we are asking parents of Juvenile Club players in particular to bag separately any Boys or Girls Austin Stacks Club Merchandise or old football boots- the plan is to hold a ‘previously loved give-away gear day’ for these items at the Juvenile Academy one Sunday morning once we are back outdoors.
Girls Academy 2023: We’re Back this Sunday – Austin Stacks LGFA Girls Football Academy will recommence indoors at Scoil Eoin, Balloonagh, Tralee this Sunday Feb 19th. U6s at 10am, U8s at 11am and U10s at 12pm – new players will be very welcome just come along on the morning to check us out. Girls advised to Wear runners and bring a bottle of water. €2 per child to cover cost of Hall Hire.
U12 Girls: We returned to training for the new season last Sunday afternoon at CBS Primary School Astro Turf pitch. More football again this Sunday from 4pm to 5pm. New players very welcome.
U14 Girls: Keith Costello and Niall Lucey will be looking after the team this year. The plan is to recommence training at the end of February.
U16 Girls: This year we are delighted to introduce our new head coach, senior player Linda Raymond. Linda is an excellent coach and has years of experience with youth teams. Melissa Maguire will be on hand also to help out with the U16s this year. The focus for 2023 will be on re-grouping our extremely talanted team – fun, football and fitness wil be the main themes for the season. The ladies would like to get training days set up asap. A message was posted on the team’s What’s App group last week so if players could confirm their interest please we can start to make plans and get the year underway.
Senior/Minor Ladies: Our Senior Ladies have recommenced training for the 2023 season. This year’s Senior Management team is Paudie O’Shea, Anthony Moriarty, Melissa Maguire & Dearbhail Foley (S&C).
