U14 Girls: Austin Stacks are delighted to announce that this year’s U14 girls team will be coached by female duo Grainne Power and Siobhan Cushen. Grainne is a former club player and daughter of Club President Noreen and the late Jackie (Co Championship & AI Club winner). Siobhan is a former senior player with Kerry and got involved with the club through the participation of her children. The ladies are looking forward to meeting the girls when we finally get the go ahead but in the mean time encourage parents to get the girls out walking or jogging. They intend to upload details of zoom fitness classes for the team over the coming days. We wish Grainne, Siobhan and all the team the best for the year ahead.
U16 and Minor players: are invited to participate in online exercise classes hosted by Kerry Sports Academy on Mondays @7pm. Duration 40 minutes. Upcoming Classes on Feb 15th, 22nd and March 1st, 8th & 15th. Zoom link will be sent via What’s App earlier in the day.
Coaches: thanks to Kerry Children’s Officer Bernie Reen who facilitated a virtual child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Course for the club last Thursday night (Feb 4th). The course which was very well attended educates participants on the implementation of best practice in protecting the welfare of children involved in sport.
