Ladies Club News June 18th, 2025

Girls Academy: We had a fantastic morning in Connolly Park last Sunday morning as we welcomed the girls from Castleisland for some fun Go Games.
our U8s will welcome Churchill to Connolly Park on Sunday morning at 10am. We have entered a team the upcoming North Kerry U10 blitz on the 28th June in John Mitchells.

U12 Girls:

Austin Stacks U12 girls, with captain Kate leading by example, earned a well deserved Summer treat for their performance last Tuesday evening in Scartaglen.

Thanks to the referee and Scartaglen for an excellent game played in ideal conditions on their superb new pitch. Upcoming fixture to look forward to game V KOR on Friday June 27th.

Note no Training this Friday evening.

U14: The Austin Stacks U14 girls took on MKL in Round 5 of the Division 1 County League last Tuesday evening in Connolly Park. The Stacks girls got off to a thrilling start, with excellent performances from every player, going in at halftime with a narrow lead – Austin Stacks 3-4 v MKL 2-3

The second half was a different story. The Rockies played well but MKL were stronger in this half and dominated the scoring for the remainder of the game.It ended on a full-time score: Austin Stacks 3-5 | MKL 2-13

Well done to all involved — it was a great game to watch, full of energy and heart. Thanks to the referee and to MKL for a fine sporting game.

U16/18: Training continues for our U16 & minor girls every Monday and Thursday from 6 to 7pm. U16 Co. League will commence after the Junior Cert exams. U16s will have a challenge game V Corcha Dhuibhne this Wednesday evening June 25th. U18 North Kerry League will commence on July 17th.

Senior Ladies: We played a very useful challenge game V Beale last Friday night in Connolly Park as we continue our preparations for The Corrib Oil Senior Co. League due to commence on July 7th with a home game V Spa Killarney at 7.30pm, Rd 2 away V Abbeydorney July 14th, Rd 3 is home to Clounmacon/Moyvane on July 21st. Our Senior Ladies train on Wednesday & Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.

G4MNO: Our Weekly training continues every Monday evening from 7-8pm. New players are very welcome just come along any evening.

Kerry: The U16 A All Ireland Semi Final Kerry V Cavan is fixed for Thursday June 26th in Banagher, Co. Offaly with a throw in time of 7.30pm. We will have a keen interest in this one and fingers crossed our very talented club player Eimear Dillane will be fit to play. * Older sister Aoife was part of last Saturdays Kerry Senior team who defeated Cork with a Superb 2nd half performance in their Group 2 match to book a home game for their AI Quarter Final.
