Girls Academy: We enjoyed a fantastic blitz in Passage West, Cork last Saturday. The whole day went off without a hitch. Thanks to the girls who represented us so well and to our coaching team who looked after the girls so well on the day. Special thanks to Yvonne and Brian who expertly event managed the whole day. Our final U10 Go Games blitz takes place this Wednesday evening in Connolly Park when we will welcome the girls from Kerins O’Rahillys.

U12 Girls: Day 2 at the Passage West Blitz, Cork this time the turn of our U12 girls who enjoyed games V Fermoy, Co. Cork, Ballyduff Lower, Co. Waterford & Monaleen, Limerick. The girls had a great fun day out playing some fantastic football along the way and represented their club superbly. Thanks to everyone who helped make today’s outing possible, particular thanks to our dedicated coaches Ruth & Darragh without whom the day could not have happened. The team were presented with their medals & enjoyed some food on their return back to the Austin Stacks Club earlier this evening.

U14 Girls: Great effort by our U14A girls, who battled to the very end last Sunday evening in Rd 4 of the North Kerry League Div 1. Congratulations to Listowel Emmets and thanks to them and referee Frank for an intense keen contest. Next up our Development team will play their Shield final this Tuesday with Abbeydorney, while our next Div 1 match is this Sunday away to Corca Dhuibhne.

Minor Ladies: We wish to acknowledge and thank Siobhan and all at Power Travel for their generous sponsorship of our upcoming Helen Dowling Memorial U18 Girls Football Blitz taking place on Saturday October 10th.

Senior Ladies: Fixture update: Intermediate Co. Championship Quarter Final home V Beaufort this Sunday Sept 13th at 12pm. The Semi final should we advance will be away V MKL Gaels on Sunday Sept 20th at 12 noon.

G4MO: Training in Connolly Park every Monday & now Wednesday night from 7pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome, especially new members. Urging Ladies age 25 + to come along & try it out, no experience or fitness ability needed.
We were thrilled to be able to present the Kerry Hospice Foundation with a cheque for €3,200 which was the proceeds from our recent fundraiser Festival Blitz day.

Stacks LGFA Upcoming Fundraising Events & Autumn 2026 Fundraising Clothing Collection – Start ‘gathering’ we will hold a clothing collection on Saturday November 7th in the club rooms Connolly Park from 11am to 1pm. Also note Garvey’s SuperValu Bucket collection on Saturday 19th September, 2026, and church gate collection at Our Lady and St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on the weekend of 19/20th September.
