Girls Academy: U6s trained on Sunday morning in Connolly Park, while our U8 girls headed to Kilcummin for a Go Games Blitz. We hosted the final Lee Strand Go Games in the series last Sunday morning in Connolly Park – thanks to Abbeydorney, Laune Rangers and Castleisland for participating. No Football this Wednesday (due to Cúl Camp). Next training this Sunday in Connolly Park at 10am.

U12 Girls: The Lee Strand Summer Go Games series continues last Monday evening (June 21st) we were home to Listowel. This week’s scheduled game V Killarney Legion was postponed and will be re-fixed for a later date. Next Training this Wednesday evening in Connolly Park.
U14 Girls: Ahern’s Castleisland U14 Girls Premier Co. League, Div.4 final took place in Connolly Park last Wednesday evening. FT Austin Stacks 9-9 Finuge/St. Senans 4-9. Following their own training session, the Austin Stacks girls academy did a guard of honour for the U14 team, well done!. The Shield was presented to Austin Stacks Jt. Captains by Jerry Fitzgerald, KLGFA. Thanks to Adrienne for her photos which can be viewed on our Club Socials. We have also entered a team in the U14 Super Touch competition which will run over 3 weeks July 2nd, 7th and 14th – this will be an 11 a side competition.


U16 Girls: U16 Clounmaurice Medical Practice North Kerry Ladies Div 2 Shield Final: FT Austin Stacks 2-18 KOR 1-6 last Tuesday evening in Connolly park we welcomed our neighbours Kerins O’Rahillys for the North Kerry shield final. Despite missing a few girls who are away on holidays, we started really well and dominated the early exchanges. A fortuitous goal midway through the half kept Kerins O’Rahillys in the game. However a few late points from our lively forwards ensured we had had an eight point lead at half time. 1-9 to 1-1. Our dominance continued in the second half with each of the girls making a contribution. The final score was 2-18 to 1-6. The shield was presented to our captain on the night, Aoibhinn Hennessy. Congrats to all the girls who have put in a lot of work since last February. The panel and scorers were, Arina Sauci, Ella O Sullivan, Maria O’Connell, Chloe O’Halloran, Lucy Carey, Eve McEvoy, Shauna Quigley (0-1), Aoibhinn Hennessy, Lauren Lawlor, Roisin Sheehy, Amelie O’Sullivan, (0-4), Ruth Dowling (0-4), Chelsea Moriarty, Sofia Rybanska (1-6), Sophie Quillinan, Debora Foley, Emma Hobbert, Sophie Ferriter, Sophie Pigott (0-2), Mya Dennehy (1-1), Ciara Cronin. Thanks to Kerins O’Rahillys for a very sporting game and to Jason O’Brien for officiating. We wish Eahba May Horgan a speedy recovery from a recent injury. . We will take a break from training for a couple of weeks and will resume the week commencing Monday 13th July. Details will be confirmed closer to the time. The county league begins on July 22nd (thanks to Sean for his match report ).



Minor Ladies: We will return to training on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. We will train with the senior ladies throughout the summer. We have entered the U23 competition, our team will be made up of our minor girls and some of the younger senior ladies. This is an 11 a side competition – fixture dates as follows: Friday the 17th of July, Friday the 24th of July And Friday the 7th of Aug.
Senior Ladies: Our Senior ladies recorded their 7th win in a row in the Credit Union Donal Curtin Co. League Div 3 with a fine win at home against Kilcummin last Monday evening (June 22nd). FT Austin Stacks 6-13 to Kilcummin 1-8. So now it was all to play for in the final round which went ahead V Listowel on Monday June 29th @7:30pm. A win or a draw required to secure promotion for the team to Div 2.
Stacks Seniors Gain Promotion: Big Congratulations to our Senior Ladies who have been promoted to Division 2 following their comprehensive win over a gallant Listowel Emmets side in Connolly Park this evening (Mon June 29th). FT Austin Stacks 3-11 Listowel 0-7. The Div 3 League table after 9 games sees us finish 2nd to KOR (KOR ahead on scoring difference). While both sides will gain promotion to Division 2, a once off home town showdown next Monday night will determine who will go up as League champions. Match details TBC. G4MNO: Our G4MNO is going from strength to strength with an Additional training night being introduced over the summer season. Training in Connolly Park every Monday & now Wednesday night from 7pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome, especially new members. Urging Ladies age 25 + to come along & try it out, no experience or fitness ability needed. We welcomed KOR G4MNO team for a very enjoyable challenge game last Monday evening (June 29th) in Connolly Park.
Kerry: Good luck to the Senior Kerry Ladies including our own Aoife Dillane in the have TG4 Senior Championship QF V Meath – game to be played this Saturday July 4th at 5.15pm in Austin Stack Park, Tralee. Younger sister Eimear will be part of the Kerry U18 team who will contest the U18 All Ireland B Championship Semi Final V Laois on Thursday July 9th at 7.30p (venue TBC). In the other Semi Final Down V Roscommon.
