Quid Games: Tickets €20 now on sale for our Fundraising Quid Games Event on October 25th at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel. The concept is based on the Netflix hit series, minus the violence…,Quid Game is a set of skills based games, a true test of accuracy, endurance & patience. We’ve got a lineup of 6 games that will test contestants’ skills, challenge their wits, and leave you on the edge of your seats. From the classic “Red Light, Green Light” to the nerve-wracking “Tower of Tension,” we’ve got it all.

It’s sure to be a fun night out with proceeds going towards our Astro Development project at Connolly Park. Congratulations to Austin Stacks LGFA, Coaching Officer, Úna Moynihan who was recognised by @peaireland for her outstanding contribution to Physical Education in Ireland by being awarded the Michael Darmody award last weekend. Úna’s contribution to the field of Physical Education in Ireland spans over 30 years. She is currently a lecturer in the Health & Leisure Department at MTU, Tralee. A brilliant achievement & well deserved for one very special lady.

U8 Girls: Last Sunday marked our final training session of the season. We had great playing numbers throughout the season, which included some fantastic Go Game challenge matches also. A season highlight was no doubt the girls half time interval performance during Kerry’s QF victory over Meath in Austin Stack Park. Thanks to Yvonne, Brian, Conor & Mark for looking after the girls so well, their enthusiasm simply contagious!! as evident by the number of new players joining & the numbers attending our weekly training sessions. Well done everyone & Enjoy the winter break!

A Word of Thanks: We also take this opportunity to thank Mags Quinnilan for her administration support to our academy coaches throughout the season. Thanks also to those of you who have helped out when coaching cover was stretched, referring our Go Games when required, provided photos, collected membership etc etc . All help was very much appreciated.

U12/U14 Girls: See details of 2 upcoming events:

*Garveys Bucket Collection* this Saturday 19th October 9:00am – 5:00pm Funds raised will go towards teams outings, expenses and to support Carmel Quilter O’Neill in the Quid Game. Player and parent volunteers needed on the day.

*End of Year Outing* Splatball at Paintball Kerry, Alderwood Road on Monday 28th October, Bank Holiday Monday. From 3:00pm, followed by pizza party on site.

Sympathy: Austin Stacks LGFA extends its sympathy to the family of the late Dolores Curtin, Oakpark, Tralee; mother of Sinead & grandmother of club players Aoife, Cian & Eimear. May she RIP.
