Ladies Club News 15th April, 2026.

Girls Academy:  Stacks U6/8/10 Girls (fingers crossed and very much weather dependent) Our U8 and U10 Girls will commence their outdoor season in Connolly Park at 10am this Sunday. U6 girls will remain indoors at 10am in Balloonagh School Hall. Please note due to the record breaking high numbers of young girls playing with Austin Stacks this year we have taken the decision to split the academy- girls will be based in Connolly Park every Sunday at 11am with the boys in Caherslee. Both groups will be in Connolly Park on the last Sunday of every month. The top gate at Highfield Grove will be open to facilitate parents dropping & collecting between both locations. It’s a handy 5 minute walk between the 2 locations via Ard Carraig.

U12 Girls:  Training is moving to Connolly Park on Wednesday evenings 6pm to 7pm. This will also be the time for our home games going forward.
U13 Girls:  A performance full of character, effort and no little skill, secured a share of the points in Killeen on Tuesday evening (April 7th) in Rd 2 of the North Kerry League.  Well done to all the girls and thanks to our younger u12s, who stepped up to the plate. We hosted Finuge/ St Senans on Tuesday (April 14th) –  The girls saved the best till last, with a scintillating performance that lit up Connolly Park.  Thanks to Finuge/ St Senans and referee Sharon.  This concludes our four NK Div 1 group games, with the girls unbeaten earning seven out of a possible eight points. We await the results of the remaining Div 1 matches for final positions.  The whole coaching team are very proud of the effort of every player over the last few weeks.
U14 Girls:  Training Mondays 6.30pm to 7.30pm and Thursday 5.30pm to 6.45pm.  Our Rd. 1 game in the Co League V Dr Crokes was postponed at the direction of Kerry LGFA our Rd 2 game away V Annascaul/Castlegregory will go ahead at 6pm this Sunday April 19th in Castlegregory.

U16 Girls:  North Kerry League Div 2 in RD 2 we are home to V Listowel this Thursday April 16th at 7pm and Rd 3 will be away V Churchill on April 23rd.


Minor Girls:  Co. League Rd 1 (back game):  Austin Stacks 7-11, Rathmore 1-03.
Well done to our minor girls on another superb performance last Thursday evening. Some lovely football was played tonight, combined with an immense work rate and some clinical finishing. That makes it two wins from two in our campaign so far. Team & Scorers:

Minor Co League: FT  Austin Stacks 6-13, Beale 2-10. Another superb win for our minor ladies this evening, making it three wins from three. An excellent all-round performance from the girls. We play Corca Dhuibne next in two weeks’ time.  Team: Amber Ryan, Jess Leen, Emily Flynn, Sophie Ferriter, Arina Sucaci, Kara Kirby, Mary Gibbons, Aoibhinn Hennessy, Chloe O Halloran, Sofia Rybanska, Penny Costello, Roisin Sheehy and Aine Gibbons. Well done girls.  We play Corcha Dhuibhne on Tues April 28th – match details tbc
Senior Ladies:  Donal Curtin Co League Div 3 (Rd3) V ISG was postponed at the request of Kerry LGFA.  In Rd 4 we are home to Beale/Knocknagoshel this Sunday at 11.30am – note earlier starting time.
G4MNO:  Training in Connolly Park every Monday night from 7pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome, especially new members. Urging Ladies age 25 + to come along & try it out, no experience or fitness ability needed. For enquiries contact Breda on 0877648795
Kerry LGFA News:  Best of luck to our own Eimear Dillane and the Kerry Minors who are away to Clare in Rd 4 of the Munster Championship this Sat April 18th at 2pm.  We send our best wishes to the Kerry U16A team including our own Amelie O Sullivan will face Cork in the Munster Final this Sunday April 19th at 4pm in Banteer. The TG4 Senior Championship will see Kerry play at home to Waterford in Austin Stack Park at 2pm on Sunday April 26th.
