Stacks advanced to the Quarter/Final against St Brendans Board at Blennerville on Monday 26th August at 7pm.
Stacks opened the scoring with a Cormac Bastible point followed by three Legion points from a Finan Blackwell free,Mark Looney and Jack Culloty from play.
Stacks had four points in a row from Ronan Carroll with three and a Darragh Lyons point after twenty minutes to leave Stacks two points ahead.
Bryan Walsh from a free made it a one point game only for Stacks to hit back with four points from Ben Murphy,Ronan Carroll free,Ryan Driscoll free and Gavin Casey from play to make it a five point game.
Cillian Murphy from a free and Cormac Bastible from play deep in injury time ended the first half scoring.

Ben Murphy and Luke Courtney traded points just after the interval and within five minutes Stacks scored 1-3 without reply Ryan O’Driscoll with 1-2 and Eoin Mangan with a point leaving eleven points between the sides.
Jack Culloty with four frees for Legion reduced the gap but that was to be Legion’s last scores as Stacks finished strongly with Ryan O’Driscoll scoring 2-1 to complete his hat trick and Jake Carmody with a point.
