Stacks suffered defeat in their first game of this years campaign when they were beaten by St Kierans on Monday evening and must now win their two remaining games against Kenmare Shamrocks and Killarney Legion if they are to progress to the knock out stages of the competition.
Jack Joy from a free had the visitors in front after two minutes but the home side were back in front after five minutes with a Cormac Bastible goal after good work by Ben Murphy.
The away side had three in a row points with a brace from Danny Hickey and one from Martin McKivergan to put them one point ahead midway through the first half.
Ben Murphy with a point had the sides level on nineteen minutes only for the away side to hit three on the bounce from McKivergan,Horan and Costello to put three points between the sides.

Ronan Carroll had Stacks opening point of the second half but within ten minutes of the second half the away side had opened up a five point lead with two Jack Joy frees and two from Michael Horan.
Cormac Bastible and Ronan Carroll with points left three between the sides
only for Michael Horan to kick his fourth point of the match.
Ronan Carroll and Cormac Bastible had a point each within a minute to make it a two point game.
St Kierans finished the stronger with a David Healy point and a James Joy goal
sandwiched in between a Ronan Carroll free to finish the scoring.
