Our U16 boys (boys born in 2009 and 2010) had another busy week that culminated in two challenge matches v Killarney Legion, one on Friday evening and the other on Sunday morning. Imríodh an dá chluiche i nDoirín. Thanks to Legion and to the referee, Evan Horan, for facilitating the two games. All in the squad got good run outs over the two matches that, hopefully, prepared them for our opening rounds of the Central League. Our U16 Central League was scheduled to commence with an A and B team double-header in Connolly Park this Thursday (3rd April). Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí! AN CLUICHE SCILIÚIL:
Congrats to Tralee CBS on a great Munster Colleges U15 ‘B’ hurling final victory over Hospital Community School, Contae Luimnigh. The Green is the first Kerry side to win a ‘B’ hurling final since the colleges and vocational sectors were amalgamated in 2014. Tralee CBS: 4-11; John the Baptist CS: 0-12. A great victory! Imríodh an cluiche i Ráth Caola. Anois, tá Corn Réamainn Uí hÓgáin suite ar cornchlár na Faiche. Thus, Tralee CBS have gained a little compensation for their U17’s loss to the same school.
