PEIL FAOI 10:
(i) The Rock U10 boys had very competitive GoGames v Fossa (Fosadh Uí Chlúmháin) last week in Connolly Park.
(ii) Football-for-Fun continues at 5.50pm on Thursday in CONNOLLY PARK.

PEIL FAOI 12:
(i) Our U12 group has now completed its County and Central Region League campaigns. Both our sides, an dá fhoireann, performed admirably in these competitions. Our trips to Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin) and to Naas (Co. Kildare) were very successful, very enjoyable and very rewarding. We continue training on Tuesdays and on Fridays in preparation for the Town League; that will be our final competition of the season and will commence at the end of August. We’ll prepare for this important series of games with a challenge game v An Daingean on August 15th (Lá Fhéile Muire Mór sa bhFómhar / Féile na Deastógála). (Tim McMahon)

PEIL FAOI 13/14:
(i) Our As successfully challenged Na Gaeil on Tuesday evening in Connolly Park and have continued to keep their brilliant 100% record. The match was a ‘nail-biter’….we were 0-10 down at the break and all looked bleak but a Lazarus-like 0-14 turnaround had our Rock stars 0-4 ahead ag séideadh deireanach fheadóg an réiteora! Pure Rock football! Brilliant! Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí!
(ii) They played v An Ghaeltacht in the penultimate round on Tuesday. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí na Carraige!
(iii) Our B game v Club Uí Chéirín-Uí Rathaille has been rescheduled to this Thursday (7th) in Connolly Park at 7pm.

PEIL FAOI U16:
‘Well done’ to our Division 10 (Team B) lads who were involved in the U16 County League final on Thursday of last week in Listowel. Unfortunately, after giving of their very very best, they were disappointed with the result and, ochón agus mo bhrón, their league campaign was brought to an end by a very strong Robert Emmet Club team. ‘Well done’ to all who played with this team throughout the year. Your mentors and parents are very happy with your summer’s performances!

(ii) We are still awaiting details of our Division 2 semi-final v the Dr Thomas Croke Club.
(iii) ‘Well done’ to our U16 lads who are on the club Minor panel that challenged Na Crócaigh in the Keanes SuperValu Minor County League semi-final on Monday last. Well done, boys! (Ger Hobbert)

MINOR HURLING VICTORY FOR TRALEE:
The first minor HURLING county title since 1986 has come to Tralee. Congratulations to the Austin Stack Club lads who were part of the victory on Sunday last i bPáirc Aibhistín de Staic. In picture: Jack Ó Seanacháin, Rory Ó Loingsigh (whose cousin, Liam Galvin, was part of the ’86 team) and Fionnán Ó Riain; Ben Litchfield is missing from the picture; Brian Shanahan and Andrew Morrissey were part of the backroom team. The Tralee (Parnells) history-making side defeated Crotta. The Tralee boys were inspired to give their all by being shown a 1986 medal that was won by The Rock team 39 years ago!
