PEIL FAOI 11/12:
We will be wrapping up our season with three games v the Kerins-O’Rahilly Club, v Ardfert and v An Daingean; we’ll travel siar go dtí An Daingean (Páirc an Ághaigh) on September 19th to take on the Red‘n’Whites. And the UNDER 11 Rock boys will have the annual trip to Na Piarsaigh in Cork…..always a brilliant occasion! We look forward to another great trip, a great day out and great football challenges.
PEIL FAOI 14:
The Rock Club is delighted that these footballers have been playing so brilliantly, both teams having reached the Central League finals. Having defeated Milltown-Castlemaine, our Division 1 boys faced An Ghaeltacht agus bhí an-bhua acu i gcluiche iontach. Imríodh an chraobhchluiche ar an Déadaoin seo caite i gCaisleán Ghriaire. Our Rock U14s have now added the Central League title to the County League title that they won earlier in the season! An-shásúil! An-shéasúr! Two great achievements! Well done, young men of The Rock!

And, having overcome Na Gaeil, our B team lads face Milltown/Castlemaine in their Division 5 final this Friday. This a big big encounter! Up The Rock!
The U14 Denis (Dinny) O’Connor Lee Strand Tournament will take place on Saturday 13th September.
Everybody in the club will look forward to this great tournament that, year after year, produces outstanding football and provides a public platform for brilliant upcoming talented Gaelic players! Not to be missed by football aficionados! A date for the diary, indeed! The club organisers have been working hard for many weeks on this project. (Seanachán Magnier)
PEIL FAOI U16:
We are still awaiting details of our Division 2 semi-final and our U16 ever-faithful crew continue training sessions with diligence and enthusiasm . Some U16 players are still involved in County Championship with the Tralee District team. Bordcheantar Thrá Lí faced the North Kerry District in the third round on Monday last in Ballydonoghue….and gave their ‘almighty best’! Maith sibh, a leaideanna an bhaile mhóir! What a massive contribution was made by our six starters on the AdeS minor team in last Thursday evening’s narrow defeat to Bordcheantar Naomh Breandán. Well done, boys! (Ger Hobbert)
MINOR FOOTBALL:
The Rock minors, having beaten Laune Rangers and having been pipped by 0-1 in their game v West Kerry, were unlucky v Na Breandánaigh (Bordcheantar Naomh Breandán) in the County Championship in Blennerville.
