THIS WEEK’S FOOTBALL CAMP:
‘Well done’ to all involved in a very enjoyable club football camp this week. All the youngsters had a great time! ‘Sam Maguire’ loves football camps!
PEIL FAOI 6:
(i) Our U6 Summer Academy continues at 6pm on Thursday (31th July). (ii) Next Sunday’s Academy will take place at 10.55am in Caherslee and won’t every single boy have a ‘pep’ in his step! (Brian Ó Donnchú)
PEIL FAOI 7/8:
(i) On Monday of last week, we welcomed the footballers of Ardfert for our 2nd round of GoGames. Really enjoyable matches! Our young stars acquitted themselves well when putting their skills, learned at academy sessions, to good use. Well done, boys. Thanks to all involved.
(ii) Our Academy continues every Thursday at 6pm in Connolly Park.

PEIL FAOI 10:
(i) The Rock U10 boys were scheduled to play Fossa (Fosadh Uí Chlúmháin), the home of the magnificent Cliffords, on Wednesday at 6.30pm in Connolly Park.
(ii) There’ll be Football-for-Fun on Sunday next at 10.50am in Caherslee and our youngsters will play just like Joe, Dylan and Armin! Come and see! Who can remember Joe, Dylan and Armin as little Rock footballers in the same pitch just a few years ago! Ciarraí Abú! (Colm Ó Mongáin)
PEIL FAOI 12:
The Central Region League is on the go and ‘so far, so good’ for The Rock boys! We continued our Central League campaign with a trip to Milltown with our A and B teams and, despite the poor weather conditions, we performed admirably and won both games. Well done, boys. This Friday we complete our round of games with the visit of the Pearse Brothers Club, Churchill, to Connolly Park. (Tim McMahon)

U12s finished off their 100% central and county league campaigns in style on Friday with two great performances over Churchill.

PEIL FAOI 13/14:
(i) Our As challenged Na Gaeil on Tuesday evening in Connolly Park. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí!
(ii) Our Bs were scheduled to take on Club Uí Chéirín-Uí Rathaille in Connolly Park at 7pm on Thursday evening.

The Under 14s boys had a great win last Tuesday against Laune Rangers in Division 5 of the Central League on a scoreline of 4-14 to 3-08.

Well done our u16B team on a very well deserved victory in an epic County League Shield Semi final in Killorglin last Thursday.
MINORS:
‘Well done’ to our minors who gave of their best in the Keanes SuperValu Minor County League semi-final v Na Crócaigh in Connolly Park on Tuesday. Maith sibh, a leaideanna na Carraige!

‘Lá dár saol ab ea é’ is what one says when one experiences what the whole of The Kingdom experienced last Sunday. It was truly ‘a day in our life’ that we enjoyed.
