An Dr Orlaith Ní Ghrífín, Oifigeach Leanaí, will organise the event. Let’s not be the bully!
OUR SENIORS IN ‘MUNSTER’:
‘Well done’ to our seniors v Cork’s Cill Seanaigh on Sunday last i nGleanntán (Glantane), Mala, Contae Chorcaí. Another big step in The Rock’s march to a wished-for Munster final. And thanks to our faithful followers who travelled up to shout them on! Tugaimis tacaíocht níos mó dóibh sa chéad chluiche eile! We wish our heroes well in their Munster final clash v Eatharlach (Aherlow), Contae Thiobraid Árann, on 7th December. The men of the Rock: Michael Tansley; Colin Griffin, Dylan Ó Cathasaigh, Joey Nagle; Armin Heinrich, Jack Ó Sé, Paul O’Sullivan; Michael O’Donnell, Joe O’Connor; Fiachna Mangan, Greg Horan, Daniel Kirby; Donagh Mac Iomhargáin, Shane O’Callaghan, Paddy Lane; Brendan O’Sullivan, Cian Purcell, Ronan Shanahan, Barry Shanahan, Darragh O’Brien, Colm Browne, Seán Quilter, Ben Quilter, Luke Ó Cathasaigh, Adam Curran, Eoghan Carroll, Conor Horan, David Fitzmaurice, Jordan Ó Cíosáin, Gearóid Mac Gearailt, Cian Ó Duilleáin, Conor Myers, Wayne Guthrie, Jack Murphy, Noah Townsend, Seán Óg Brosnan.
BILLY’S BOYS:
The Rock lads travelled up to Cork and played in Gleanntán pitch;
They played with concentration great, not like hurlers on a ditch;
They faced the foe in wind and rain and rattled Cill Seanaigh’s net;
And when the final whistle blew…..for a ‘Munster’ they were set.
The three gold crowns of Munster are now before our eyes.
‘We’ll give our all! We’ll do our best!’ say the Black‘n’Amber boys.
‘A wished-for day has come our way and we must grasp the chance!’
And Greg Horan’s lads will face Eatharlach (Aherlow) and lead a merry dance!
[Eatharlach = low land between two mountains].
