The football action continues for these age groups at 6pm on Thursday in Connolly Park and then at 10.50AM on Sunday, also in Connolly Park.
PEIL FAOI 10
The Rock U10s play Go Games in Kilcummin at 6.30PM on this Wednesday 27th and Football For Fun will take place in Connolly Park at 10.50am on Sunday.
PEIL FAOI 12:
Sunday’s Town League fixture with Churchill was postponed at their request. This week we continue our preparations at 5.45PM on Tuesdays and Fridays for the forthcoming games: Sunday 31st V KO’R, away; Sunday September 7th V Ardfert, away.
PEIL FAOI U14:
This group is playing brilliantly – both teams have now qualified for the Central League Finals, following big wins in the semi-finals over Milltown-Castlemaine in Div. 1 and Na Gaeil in Div. 6. We now play An Ghaeltacht in the Div.1 final at 7PM on this Tuesday 26th – venue to be confirmed. The Div.5 final with Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane or Milltown/Castlemaine has yet to be fixed.
U16 FOOTBALL:
This group continues to prepare for the as-yet-unfixed U16 County League semi-finals.
Meanwhile eight of the lads played on the Tralee Divisional side which defeated Eoghan Rua last Monday and Tralee now plays West Kerry at 7PM on this Monday, 25th in Dingle.
MINOR FOOTBALL:
The Rock, with six U16s on the starting fifteen, lost by 2-7 to 1-11 to West Kerry in the County Championship on Thursday in Connolly Park. We now play St Brendan’s in Blennerville in our third game in the 3-team group at 7PM on this Thursday 28th, having beaten Laune Rangers in Round 1.
SENIOR FOOTBALL:
The Rock plays Rathmore at 7PM on this Saturday 30th in Austin Stack Park in the quarter final of the County Senior Club Championship.
