PEIL FAOI 7:
(i) Last week, and in very warm weather conditions, our U7 stars played Finuge in Finuge. Despite the host team having a mixed U7/8 selection, our U7 stalwarts acquitted themselves well when putting their skills, learned at academy sessions, to good use. Well done, lads. Thanks to all involved.
(ii) On Thursday last our U7 boys played Firies in Firies. Well done, lads! You played great football. Thanks to all involved. (iii) No…no…no football on Sunday next as we’ll be cheering on Joe, Dylan and Armin who’ll be working hard to reclaim the Sam Maguire Cup. (StJohn Hegarty)
PEIL FAOI 8:
(i) Our U8s had more brilliant GoGames in our own club field v the boys of Ballymac; and both teams played exciting football!
(ii) On Thursday last our U7 boys had a fixture in Firies where they played outstanding Gaelic. Well done, boys; and thanks to all involved.
(iii) Our Academy continues every Thursday at 6pm in Connolly Park. (iv) Next Sunday’s Academy will NOT take place as many of our members will be too excited about Kerry’s All-Ireland Final v Dún na nGall! (StJohn Hegarty)
PEIL FAOI 10:

PEIL FAOI 12:
The Central Region League is on the go and ‘so far, so good’ for The Rock boys! We continued our Central League campaign with a trip to Milltown with our A and B teams and, despite the poor weather conditions, we performed admirably and won both games. Well done, boys. This Friday we complete our round of games with the visit of the Pearse Brothers Club, Churchill, to Connolly Park. (Tim McMahon)
PEIL FAOI 13:
After two good victories to open our Central League account (A boys v Na Mistéalaigh; B lads v Baile an Mhuilinn) we continue this week with the Bs challenging Laune Rangers in Killorglin at 7.15pm; our As have a bye. PEIL FAOI U16:
Another tough week, unfortunately, in our County League games. A two-point defeat at home to Firies in Division 1 was a disappointment and so was the defeat away to Milltown/Castlemaine in Division 9. Beidh lá eile ag an bPaorach! So, the situation now is that we play Dr Crokes in the semi-final of Division 2 and our Division 10 team will play Laune Rangers. Training sessions continue in preparation for these games. ‘Well done’ to all our players who lined out and faithfully represented the club during the County League so far. The unavailability of players, because of holidays and injuries, is very challenging for coaches; it’s difficult to have to play two teams on the same night throughout the campaigns. We wish ‘speedy recovery’ to the few lads who picked up injuries this week. ‘Well done’ to our players who represented us well and did themselves proud on Monday evening when playing with the minors in their final round game v Laune Rangers. It’s very encouraging to see our boys continuously improving! The U16 County League semi-finals are due to be played this Thursday, 24th July. (Ger Hobbert)
MIONÚIR:
Our final round of the County League was played on Monday last v Laune Rangers. Well done, lads! Wins over Na Fianna and An Léigiún had put both teams level on points on the results’ table. (Andrew Morrissey)
CIARRAÍ:
Our good wishes to Dylan, Joe, Armin, their county colleagues and Paudie McQuinn v Tír Chonaill i bPáirc an Chrócaigh Dé Domhnaigh seo chugainn! A big task!
