While our boys might be a little sad over not winning the County League, we are very happy with their dedication over the season and we are delighted that they are champions of the Tralee and St Brendan District as well as the Central League champions for 2025. It was a great season. Our sympathies to The Green U17s in their match v The Sem in the semi-final of the Frewen Cup U17A competition which was played last Friday in the Dr Croke Club grounds, Lewis Road, Killarney. The Killarney side proved to be the stronger and were clear winners. Result…Tralee CBS: 1-9; St. Brendan’s College: 5-12. The Killarney boys will play Clonakilty Community College in the final. CAID na gCOLÁISTÍ FAOI 19 A:
(i) The Green CBS boys played Pobalscoil Chaiseal Mumhan at the UL Maguire Pitches in the Munster U19 Corn Uí Mhuirí Competition and had a good victory. Result…Tralee CBS: 2-24; Pobalscoil Chaiseal Mumhan: 2-7. ‘Well done’ to all including the Rock players on the panel: Oilibhéar Lata, Eoin Ó Mongáin, Fionnán Ó Riain agus Rónán Ó Cearúill.

Sympathies to the Mercy Mounthawk lads v Coláiste Phádraig, Oileán Ciarraí, in their bid to try to retain Corn Uí Mhuirí. Good wishes to them in their next encounter and good wishes to our own Adam Mac Eoin, Dáithí Hoibeard, Alex Ó Tuathaigh, Anraí Ó Murchú, Jack Ó Duigín, D.Ó Liatháin, Ben Litchfield. We now look forward to the big big upcoming game between The Green and Mercy Mounthawk.
(ii) The O’Sullivan Cup (Kerry U19 Schools) final was scheduled for Tuesday (18th) at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney. The finalists: Tralee CBS and St. Brendan’s College.
